Martine Stead

Martine is Deputy Director of the Institute for Social Marketing at the University of Stirling.

Martine joined ISM, formerly the Centre for Social Marketing at Strathclyde University, in 1992 after obtaining an English degree from University College London and working in health promotion.

Martine's research interests include the development of and evidence base for social marketing (particularly in the areas of substance use, diet and physical activity), the meanings of health behaviours, the evaluation of complex behaviour change interventions, and the evaluation of implementation processes.
